A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Elise has been enjoying Rehoboth Beach and its beautiful beaches and tree-lined streets since the mid-80s when she moved to the DC area after law school. She and her husband, Tim became homeowners in Rehoboth Beach in 1997 and built their existing home in 2006. She is a former member of the City’s Tree and Green Infrastructure Committee and the Stormwater Task Force. As a former member of the Board of Arlington Neighborhood Village, she served in officer roles including as President during her 6 year term. In retirement, she and her husband split their time between Arlington, VA and Rehoboth. She enjoys walking the beach and boardwalk, gardening in their native plant garden and playing pickleball and golf.

Professionally, Elise spent 20+ years in health care policy and lobbying roles for health care policy associations and companies including a Fortune 10 corporation. She began her career on Capitol Hill serving as a Legislative Assistant to a U.S. Senator and as a professional staff member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
